Over the three days of fieldwork (March 16, 17 and 18) the different teams on each island will listen to and act on the opinions of the different actors involved in the terrace systems (local administration, technicians, farmers, builders, peasant farmers, cooperative members…). Each of them will explain, based on their wisdom/knowledge and practices, the arguments they consider necessary to regenerate the conditions to value these territories and Re-enchant the terraces.
Each team will organize their time and itinerary that allows, in addition to visiting the different terraced places and areas, conclusions to be drawn from the debates and opinions expressed by the participants in the itineraries.
The results of the fieldwork of the Island Explorations will be presented by each of the groups during the plenary sessions of the Congress in La Gomera on the 19, 20, 21 and 22 of March where they will join the groups from the Azores and Cape Verde Islands..
